An intriguing and scenic walk that combines healthy outdoor activities with cultural aspects.
The route leads to appreciate the lonely landscapes at the Hermitage of San Martino, a small building perched on the steep southern slopes of Lancia Summit. The walk is located at the beginnig of the well-known Genova Valley, along a wooded path that overlooks the plains of Sarca in front of the famous Dolomites. Along the route you can enjoy the picturesque landscape of the Rendena Valley. The route is particularly attractive in both spring and autumn when the forest is tinged with bright colors.
The trail does not have any major difficulties, and this allows also children to do it.
