The hike organized by Mountain Friends Pinzolo Val Rendena, to Val Nambrone will follow an easy route suitable for families also with baby pushchairs.
The path runs through one of the most beautiful parts of Val Nambrone where water games of the Sarca river shape a landscape of incomparable beauty, characterized by quiet blue ponds, but also by the impetuous waterfalls of "Amola". Rich in water and forests, the Nambrone Valley is lcoated in the south-eastern area of the Group Presanella between Presanella massif and the crest of Monte Nambrone - Monte Serodoli, which separates it from the Valle di Campiglio. Glacial, but devoid of the characteristic "steps", the Nambrone Valley is crossed by the Sarca Nambrone river which originates from lake at the head of the valley. Wild and rugged at the top, in the lower part of the valley is characterized by a lush vegetation and by the abundance of water, together with the presence of settlements (such as rural Pimont at the beginning of the valley) and numerous huts.
Along the many paths at the lower part of the valley you can appreciate its beauty: the area of marshes and ponds at the confluence of the two Sarca streams (Amola and the Nambrone) and the surroundings of the Mandra dell' Ors where you can catch fascinating glimpses of the spectacular waterfall of Cornicello.
