The Pinzolo Mountain Friends Alpine Guides offer an exciting 3-day rock climbing course, designed for mountain enthusiasts who want to learn how to move safely on long, traditionally-equipped Dolomite routes. A unique experience for those who want to discover the mountains in an authentic way, with the support of expert guides who will lead you on this fascinating vertical journey.

Climbing on the Dolomite walls boasts over a century of tradition, rooted in the places that saw the pioneers of mountaineering since the late 1800s. The charm of these mountains attracted the first explorers who charted legendary routes, many of which are still considered authentic "gems" of intuition and courage. Although some of these routes do not present extreme technical difficulties, approaching them with confidence requires solid preparation and a knowledge base that goes far beyond basic climbing technique.

Our 3-day course is designed to transmit these essential skills, providing participants with the necessary knowledge to safely tackle traditional Dolomite routes. During the course, topics such as creating and connecting anchors, using pitons and hammers, placing quick protections, belaying the leader and second climber, rappelling, planning the itinerary, and rope ascending will be covered, along with managing abandoning belays.

The program includes 3 days immersed in the heart of the Brenta spires, with a base at the Tucket Refuge. From here, numerous long routes ideal for learning are accessible in less than an hour and a half of hiking. The first day will be dedicated to a crag session, to acquire and consolidate the "theory" in a comfortable environment, while the following two days will be dedicated to climbing longer routes, where participants will have the opportunity to challenge themselves and take the lead in the ascents. The choice of routes, on walls like Castelletto Inferiore and Mezzo, Corna Rossa, Spallone Irene, and Cima Grostè, will be made based on the technical abilities of the group, with the aim of maximizing the educational experience.

With a focus on the transfer of practical knowledge, the course aims to provide a solid preparation to approach the Dolomite walls with greater awareness, thanks to the support of expert guides and the opportunity to personally experience the magic and beauty of traditional climbing.
