In a spectacular environment, with the Pinzolo Val Rendena Mountain Friends Alpine Guides, these two peaks, in the heart of the Brenta Dolomites, offer unique emotions!
These two peaks, perfect as a first approach to the world of standard routes, can be considered as "detours" from the Benini via ferrata. Cima Falkner is reached by climbing the southern channel for about a hundred meters from the highest point reached along the Benini via ferrata. It does not present major difficulties but requires a steady footing and caution to avoid dislodging the unstable rocks along the way. Cima Grostè is reached by leaving the via ferrata near the Bocchetta dei Camosci and features a short but steep wall leading to the summit plateau. If well-trained, it is possible to climb both peaks in one day. The Benini via ferrata is completed by reaching the Tuckett refuge and then descending to Vallesinella. A shuttle bus takes you back to the Grostè cable car. Alternatively, climbing only Cima Grostè is a rewarding and relatively easy ascent, excellent for taking time to learn safety maneuvers with the rope.
