A beautiful, classic ski mountaineering route in the Madonna di Campiglio area, above the Lago Nambino Refuge, in an area still free of ski lifts and slopes.
After an initial section through the woods, the landscape opens up with an incredible view of the Brenta Dolomites. The peak rises above several alpine lakes, which, when frozen, create a particularly enchanting atmosphere. This route is suitable even for those who have recently started ski mountaineering, although it does require the use of kick turns in certain sections, and the final slope (about 50 m) leading to the summit is often done without skis. The descent can be taken on various exposures to find the best snow conditions. Overall, it’s a fulfilling and complete tour: about 1,000 meters of elevation gain to a sharp peak with breathtaking views and a descent with varied exposures and slopes, requiring good ski control.
