Benini route is a perfect Via Ferrata for beginners of this activity. Once you reach Grostè Pass with the gondola, you walk one hour to the Ferrata start. Through scenic ledges and narrow steps along vertical cliffs you finish at Tuckett Hut (4 to 5 hour trip) where you can rest before closing the loop with an easy path that brings you slightly uphill to Grostè gondola. An alternative is to walk down to Vallesinella trailhead from where you can take the public bus to the gondola parking lot. Altogether Benini route is a 7 to 8 hours excursion that takes you high up in the Dolomites.
